Spicy Strawberry and Honey Goat Cheese Crostini

Sweet strawberries, creamy goat cheese, and a hint of jalapeño—simply irresistible

  • 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt

  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice

  • 1 tbsp Jalapeño, minced

  • Fresh Mint, chopped

  • 4 oz La Bonne Vie Honey Goat Cheese, softened

  • 12 oz French Baguette

  • 2 cups Strawberries, chopped

Ingredients:

  1. Slice the French baguette into 1/4-inch-thick diagonal slices.

  2. Arrange the slices on a large baking sheet and bake at 350°F for approximately 10 minutes, until lightly toasted.

  3. Allow the slices to cool completely for about 20 minutes.

  4. Combine chopped strawberries, minced jalapeño, mint, fresh lime juice, and kosher salt in a small bowl. Stir until well mixed.

  5. Spread 1 rounded teaspoon of softened La Bonne Vie Honey Goat Cheese onto each toasted baguette slice.

  6. Add 1 slightly rounded teaspoon of the strawberry mixture on top of the Honey Goat Cheese. Finish with a sprinkle of freshly chopped mint.
