Cranberry & Cinnamon Apple Tart

A delicate tart with sweet apples and our Cranberry & Cinnamon goat cheese

  • 1-2 (4 oz) La Bonne Vie Cranberry & Cinnamon Goat Cheese

  • 1 Pastry Sheet

  • 1 ½ tbsp Lemon juice

  • 1 tsp Powdered Sugar

Ingredients:

  • ¼ tsp Kosher Salt

  • 2 Apples, peeled and thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp Un-Salted Butter

  • 1 tbsp Granulated Sugar

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Peel, core, and slice apples into half-moons; place in water to prevent browning.

  3. Cut the pastry sheet into six squares and poke vent holes in the center, leaving a 1-inch border.

  4. Mix La Bonne Vie Cranberry & Cinnamon Goat Cheese with lemon juice, powdered sugar, and salt until smooth.

  5. Spread the goat cheese mixture over the vented area of each pastry square.

  6. Layer apple slices in a shingled pattern over the goat cheese mixture and sprinkle with sugar.

  7. Fold pastry edges over the apples to create a border and brush with egg wash.

  8. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the apples are golden and caramelized.

  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
