Strawberry & Ginger Chutney
The perfectly savory & sweet addition to a cheese board or crepes
Ingredients:
• 2 CUPS Strawberry – Fresh, Quartered
• 1 CUP Granulated Sugar
• ¼ CUP Distilled Vinegar
• 2 TSP Red Pepper Flake
• 2 TBL Ginger – Fresh, Grated
• 1 TSP Cardamom (OPTIONAL), Ground
Directions:
1) In a saucepan, add the strawberry, sugar, vinegar, and 1 cup water
2) Cook over medium till thickened
3) Add all the spices and cook till jam consistency
4) Season with salt as needed
5) Allow chilling till cool throughout
Makes about 4 servings
