Strawberry & Ginger Chutney
The perfectly savory & sweet addition to any of our cheeses with crackers, or crepes with our crème fraîche
Ingredients:
2 cups Strawberry – fresh, quartered
1 cup Granulated Sugar
¼ cup Distilled Vinegar
• 2 tbsp Red Pepper Flake
• 2 tbsp Ginger – fresh, grated
• Optional: 1 tsp Cardamom, ground
Combine strawberries, sugar, vinegar, and 1 cup of water in a saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until thickened.
Stir in spices and continue cooking until the mixture reaches a jam-like consistency.
Season with salt to taste.
Let cool completely before serving or storing.
