Strawberry & Ginger Chutney

The perfectly savory & sweet addition to any of our cheeses with crackers, or crepes with our crème fraîche

  • 2 cups Strawberry – fresh, quartered

  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar

  • ¼ cup Distilled Vinegar

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Red Pepper Flake

  • 2 tbsp Ginger – fresh, grated

  • Optional: 1 tsp Cardamom, ground

  1. Combine strawberries, sugar, vinegar, and 1 cup of water in a saucepan.

  2. Cook over medium heat until thickened.

  3. Stir in spices and continue cooking until the mixture reaches a jam-like consistency.

  4. Season with salt to taste.

  5. Let cool completely before serving or storing.

Directions:

Makes about 4 servings
